Healthy Clean audits are powerful evidence based facility management tools allowing you to answer important questions including :
This microbiological auditing system uses a standardised swabbing technique on infection hot spots. These microbial collection swabs are then analysed by a NATA Accredited Laboratory to determine if the cleaning and infection control processes are adequate. This audit is particularly useful in higher infection risk areas such as toilets and kitchens.
New technology from North America enables Healthy Clean to check what is being cleaned and what is being missed. This process sprays an invisible layer on to the surface of areas to be examined, prior to the cleaning service. Once the cleaning has finished, black light illumination of the areas to be examined will show as fluorescent if the area has not been cleaned. This system is particularly useful to determine if known infection hotspots are being cleaned.
This audit identifies issues arising from inadequate cleaning regimes or processes. A benefit of this audit type is that maintenance issues (water damage, broken cupboards etc.) and longer term cleaning issues can also be identified. For this on-site walk around audit it is important that a proven inspection framework is used in conjunction with staff experienced in cleaning methodologies.
